MakeIt Labs is New Hampshire's first Community-Operated Workshop (a.k.a makerspace or hackerspace ), and a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Located in Nashua, NH, we opened our doors in 2010 as a place where anyone can come to dream, learn, and create with like-minded people. We’re looking for makers with an eye for building awesome things.
Open Houses are every Thursday night, 6-9pm (and usually later). Just stop by and introduce yourself, no appointment needed.
Members have up to 24/7 access to a 6000 sq.ft. workshop filled with all sorts of tools and equipment, both familiar and exotic. There's metalworking, welding, machining, automotive, carpentry, electronics, laser cutting, 3D printing, programming, and much more! Walk in with an idea, walk out with it made. See our continuously evolving Equipment List to get a better idea of our resources.
MakeIt's members are easily our greatest asset. We're a 100% volunteer organization, run by people passionate about helping others learn and create. Need help to make your idea? Just like discovering new things? Come hang out with, and learn from a community of students, hobbyists, engineers, artists and more.
We're more than a place to work on projects, we're a community. Socialize with like minds while relaxing in the lounge. Brainstorm new ideas together at one of our workstations. We offer wifi with awesome business-class internet, network storage, ample working space, and talented members to collaborate with on your ideas.
We're happy to call Nashua our home, and want to give back to the community that supports us. Our classes and workshops are open to the general public, and anyone is welcome to drop in for open house nights. We're also thrilled to host special events for groups interested in technology and creativity, either at our facility or yours. Whether it's teaching grade school kids to solder at the local libraries, hosting a group of high school students to design go-karts, or assisting with college level projects, we strongly believe in furthering education, especially in the STEM/STEAM related fields. Please contact us if you'd like to discuss a partnership!
